Gautier is one of the few French furnishing businesses to be awarded this environmental certification. Its commitment to preserve the environment means:

- choosing “clean†new technologies (a production line that reduces solvent emissions, a boiler with low gas emissions, etc.),

- preventing any possible source of pollution (water treatment works, storage of varnishes and lacquers, etc.),

- selecting timber from sustainably managed forests,

- reducing energy consumption and recycling our sawdust and wood offcuts as thermal energy,

- everybody selectively sorting waste for improved recycling.
